Good morning and welcome back to what has been a quiet blog this week. Our week in one picture sums up how our week started with some fresh air and sunshine.
Unfortunately, by the end of the week, the weather had turned cold and we were all back at work & school!
We are extremely lucky that we have a bit of open space behind the houses near where we live, but also that Kayleigh and Ethan get on so well. When we found out that we were expecting a boy with our scan with Ethan, I was a little shocked and worried that they wouldn’t really get on as they got older. I don’t know why but I always imagined they would be completely different as they grew up and not really spend much time together.
I couldn’t have been more wrong if I tried.
They are the best of friends and I would say 95% of the time they get on. I do think we are very lucky that they are as close as they are and I know it may not always be the case. When they are at school they have their own group of friends, they are not in each other pockets however when they are at home, they are double trouble, always chatting and laughing away at things. They both have the same sense of humour and interests.
By the time the summer holidays have ended, they will both have their own rooms and space for the first time ever, so it will be interesting to see how they get on with it, I’m certain they will be in each other’s rooms all the time!
