School starts back up for us 2 weeks today and we are getting prepared with Smiggle.
Ever since our local Smiggle shop has opened, it has been the place the kids stock up ready for the return to school. In fact, I would say that most of the kids from the school they go to are the same. It seems the design and colours attract the kids and my two love to spend their pocket money there.
Here is our list of school essentials, minus the school uniform:
- Pencil case
- Backpack
- PE bag
- Lunchbox
- Water bottle
- Pencils
- Eraser
- Ruler
- Sharpener
- Colouring pencils
- Glue
We wrote this last-minute school essentials post last year, well worth a read again this year.
Some items we have here are used from the previous year but to be fair, lots of them have run out or have been so well used that they need replacing!
Smiggle kindly sent Kayleigh some items to get her ready for the new term, her last in junior school. The pencil case she has received is an Explore Post pencil case which is big enough for her to keep everything together however the design is simple enough for her not to get distracted in class.
This design theme also has a matching lunch box, backpack, water bottle and other items such as a washbag and slap band.
The lunch box is different from ones we have used in the past as it is attachable to the backpack. This means the walk to school is a little easier as she can just attach it before she heads to school then pop it on the lunch trolley at school. As with all the Smiggle lunch boxes we have had in the past, this is a great size for getting all her lunch packed in safely.
