Welcome back to our last meal plan of October, these weeks seem to be flying by this year.
Over the last few weeks, I have been really enjoying using our pressure cooker to help cook dinner. I brought it as a replacement for our slow cooker, it is a 12 in 1 pressure cooker, so we can still use it as a slow cooker.
So far, so good with it. We have used the app that comes with it to follow some simple recipes over the last few weeks and I am putting a few more on the meal plan this week. It has made my life so much easier as it cuts down the cooking time in the evening, freeing me up to do other things around the house.
Our meal plan – 26/10/20
Monday –
Spaghetti Carbonara – This is a recipe we tried in the pressure cooker and it didn’t come out great so I am going to try it on the hob!
Tuesday –
Toad in the hole – This has been a while since I last cooked this, Yorkshire puddings are always a hit in our house!
Wednesday –
Moroccan lamb tagine – Not sure how this one will go down as it is a new recipe but let’s hope it is a success.
Thursday –
Burger and chips – Easy dinner and one that will have no battles!
Friday –
Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!
Saturday –
Beef stew – cooked in the pressure cooker so the meat is lovely and tender.
Sunday –
Lamb shanks – I love Costco’s lamb shanks, I’ve always slow cooked them so hoping to have the same success in the pressure cooker.
This week’s meal plan is packed full of classics, perfect for the winter weather. I can’t wait to get stuck in!
