Our weekly meal plan – 02/11/20

Good morning and welcome back to another meal plan and our first one of November!

This year has flown by and it feels like we have hit a rhythm with meal planning now. One thing I have learnt this year with our meal plan is that even if we don’t stick to it, we can just adjust what we are having that week using the same ingredients in a different meal. This still allows us to cut food wastage but also enjoy some yummy home-cooked meals.

I am still loving using our pressure cooker, it makes some meals so easy and when you cook things such as stewing beef etc in there, the meat just comes out so tender and delicious.

For this weeks meal plan, I am heading back to some classics again, alongside some family favourites to make mealtimes easy!

Our meal plan – 02/11/20

Monday –

Chicken fajitas – Kayleigh’s favourite and one I enjoy cooking as it is just so simple to make!

Tuesday –

Sausage, egg and chips – This is Ethan’s favourite, he loves sausages at the minute, especially with eggs!

Wednesday –

Cottage pie – It feels like a while since we made some good cottage pies so I can’t wait for this one.

Thursday –

All-in-one spicy pork and rice – This Hairy Bikers recipe is delicious, I haven’t cooked it in ages though so looking forward to this one.

 Friday –

Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!

Saturday –

Chicken burger and chips – The kids love the Birds Eye bubble chicken burgers so they will have those.

Sunday –

Roast – This will be dependant on what we get in.

I am looking forward to this weeks meals, we have all got some of our favourites on there so everyone should be happy!
