Easter is just around the corner and I am partial to a bit of Easter Egg or two! However, those with kids will realise just how much chocolate they can receive at this time of the year. Throw into the mix you are pretty much housebound for the next few months still, it doesn’t seem like such a good idea!
We have been looking for alternative gift ideas from Wicked Uncle and their site is packed full of gift ideas for kids. These don’t need to break the bank either. Over on their site, they have a handy little filter for you to pick a suitable gift. I can imagine, for those, a little unsure what to buy this could be a great way to hunt for the right gift. Even away from Easter gifts, Wicked Uncle is a great place to get your shopping done for children.
Their site offers more than just small gifts for Easter, it has a whole host of ideas and inspirations. One of my personal favourite things about it is the options for toys that encourage things such as construction and adventure. Breaking away from the normal ideas you see on TV adverts, they are encouraging kids to learn and have fun in a whole host of ways.
Here are some of my favourite gift ideas on their site.
Gangsta Granny’s Mental Maths Games – £10
All the kids I know love David Walliams books, they are very popular. So I can imagine this spin-off game from the book series is going to be very popular. The great thing about these games is they are popular with the whole family regardless of age. Perfect for when you are able to have friends and their children over too!
Infinity Loop Flow Rings – Kinetic Marvel! – £5.95
Ethan has one of these and it is amazing. I can’t work out how it actually moves but it is therapeutic to watch. I often find Ethan playing with it whilst he is watching TV, I think he finds it relaxing.
Grow It – Rainbow Veg – £12.95
This is such a great idea for kids of all ages. Following on from the trouble with shopping the last lockdown, we have made plans to grow our own when we get our garden sorted.
With this set, you have everything you need to get going.
Planning ahead
As restrictions are still going to be in place over the Easter period, Wicked Uncle has you sorted for gifts too. There is an option on their site for them to wrap your gift and write a card too should you need to. I know it is not the same as being able to gift in person, but it’s a close 2nd. At least your recipient will be able to have the fun of opening their gift.
Knowing that we have a while longer until we can socialise again, you may find yourself planning ahead with your birthday gifts. With the added bonus of gift wrapping and card, Wicked Uncle has you all sorted. If you are looking for something to humour your own child, why not check out the joke factory. A little giggle brightens the day!
This guide for family games is a great place to start if you are looking to get inspiration that the whole family can enjoy.
