Getting kitted out for the return to school

I know the kids have only just broken up from school however many of us will be using this 6 weeks to prepare for the return to school.

For us, as well as uniform, we must look at the kid’s backpacks, lunch bags and stationery. They are both required to take a pencil case that contains:

  • Pencils
  • Colouring pencils
  • Rubber
  • Ruler
  • Sharpener
  • Glue stick

At the end of every summer term, we go through their bits and start to work out what needs replacing. To be fair, after 38 weeks of school lots of it has been well used, battered and bruised from use and needs to be replacing.

It doesn’t, however, need to cost you a fortune! Shop around when it comes to school items and be prepared to look around different shops or online.

Places like Office Stationary have great deals on your essentials and you can get them delivered straight to your door. Better than that though we can order our office essentials at the same time and stock up for everyone. With my blog work I have my own little desk space where I work from and there I have my planners, pads and pens etc so it is a great way to top in one shop.

As well as the essential items you would expect to find in a stationary store they also sell arts and craft supplies, office furniture and much more.

We always make sure that when we order our stationery we order extra items such as pencils and colouring pencils as throughout the terms the kids always come and top up as their pencils get shorter and shorter. It just saves that stress during the term of needing to get extra items after work or school.
