This year is going to be a good year, I am trying to have a positive outlook after a tough 18 months.
So with this in mind we are in full planning mode of things we want to get done and achieved in the next 18-24 months.
Here is the top of our list:
- Family holiday – Thankfully we have this already planned for later in the year as we head out to Cyprus for our friends wedding.
- Sort out the gardens – Both our front and back garden are in need of a huge overhaul.
- Rear extension – We need to extend our home into a 3 bed so the kids have their own space.
- New kitchen – This is the one I am really excited about!
As you can see, none of these are going to be cheap or quick however things we can work hard for and plan for.
One of my favourite things to do is plan how things are going to look, of course what I think we can afford to what we can actually afford tend to be two different things!
In my dream kitchen I have plans for all those handy storage draws, a huge fridge, Neff oven and a coffee machine like this Honest Coffee – commercial coffee machines perfect for those lazy Sunday mornings. It would be lovely if we could have space to sit and enjoy a cup of coffee with some breakfast but there simply isn’t enough.
I know that in reality I will need to start reigning in my plans as they simply wont be in the budget however it is good to dream right?
My favourite source of inspiration is Pinterest, there is so many homes and great ideas on there that I want to incorporate into our home. I can’t wait to get the ball rolling on these.
