Life’s too short

Now normally I would be joining in with the silent Sunday, however this week I found out something that shocked me a little and made me realise, life is too short and we need to enjoy it whilst we can & I thought I’d share it so you can all live life that little bit more each day.

We always tend to take our cars into the local garage and have done since we had the Astra so slowly but surely we got to know the staff there over the years. So I admit I was a bit taken back this week to find out one of the lady’s who we had dealt with over the years had passed away tragically in an accident aged 31. She was amazing at her job and always did an amazing job with customer service.

She was only a few years older than me with her whole life ahead of her yet it was taken away in the blink of an eye.

It made me realise that life isn’t just ours, it can be taken away at anytime. So today there will be no laptop, no phone & no Facebook (from now). Just the family and our precious time together.

It was horrible to hear that, i know her family and friends have raised some money for the local air ambulance at a fundraiser in her name which i thought was a lovely gesture

Oh that’s really tragic. 31 is so young. It’s very true, life is very very short and goes by in the blink of an eye. I think we all forget don’t we. Makes me want to hug my boy that bit tighter!

  2. Awww so sad 🙁 It does make you think doesn’t it? My friend suddenly past away on Sunday. She was just 36 and left behind beautiful children 🙁 I only spoke to her the night before. Its put things into perspective though. She was a cake decorator, and thats something I’ve wanted to do for a while, but I need practise and confidence. I’m now going to follow my dreams and just do it. Lifes too short for regrets x
