Good evening and welcome back to another weekly meal plan. I can’t believe we are now in December, it seems that this year has just flown by.
We have also now finished our building work, we have a few little bits to touch up but it is done. For the first time in 4 months, there is no need to get home and do any sanding, filing, wallpapering etc. It is going to be lovely getting home and having no plans for the evening, I can’t wait.
This does also mean we should be eating a little fresher as we will have time to get the cooking done, I can’t wait to eat a little healthier and a little less processed, before we hit Christmas itself and have just lots of sweets and chocolate!
Here is what we have cooking at our house this week.
Our meal plan – 02/12/19
Takeaway – It has been a tradition for the last few years to have a takeaway whilst we put the decorations up and this year is no different for us.
Spaghetti bolognaise – Again another dish missed out last week, this is going to be delicious.
Chicken fajita – Feels like it has been a while since we had these, they are Kayleigh’s favourite.
Chilli Con Carne – This is one of my batch cooking favourites, pack the dish out with things like sweetcorn and kidney beans to make it go further.
Sweet potato and chickpea curry – Did not make this in the end last week so looking forward to this tonight.
Eating out – We are visiting friends this evening so a night off cooking for us.
Roast or stew – Depends on the shop this week.
I’m looking forward to being able to cook a little more this week and the build-up to Christmas.
