Good morning and welcome back to another weekly meal plan.
This week, we are trying to get back into healthier eating habits. I don’t know about anyone else, but during the lockdown, lazy habits kicked in. Now, we are not planning on changing a huge amount to our diet, just making a few healthier choices and cutting down the snacks. We are going to be upping our fruit and veg intake over the course of the week too!
Looking for inspiration this week, I am using up a few of the Slimming World recipes. I just find these really filling but also delicious.
Our meal plan – 03/04/21
Leftover lamb curry – Using up the last of the lamb from yesterday.
Penne arrabbiata – We’ve had this before and it is delicious!
Chicken Tikka Masala – This recipe is another Slimming World recipe, I’ve not tried it before so looking forward to it.
Cottage pie – I made some of these a few weeks ago and still have 1 in the freezer to enjoy.
Takeaway – We are back to our weekly takeaway treats, I just want to put my feet up and not worry about dinner.
Chilli con Carne – Planning to batch cook this, packed full of veggies and beans.
Roast or stew – I will see what is on offer when I do the shopping.
Last weeks meal plan went a lot better than planned, I’m just hoping this week is just as successful! I am a little annoyed at myself for getting so lazy with meal times, however, I’m hoping to get back into the swing of it. Especially now our oven actually cooks food in the time it should do!
