Good morning and welcome back to our first meal plan of 2019.
We are back to normal today after 2 weeks off, so I think we may find it hard to get back into a routine this week. We have been really lazy over the last week or so, but it has been worth it!
This week we will be back to normal with our meals too as we try to eat a little bit better but also ensure we are eating a little healthier too. I am going to try and introduce a few new recipes a month too, just to give ourself a little bit more option to pick from.
Our meal plan – 07/01/19:
Gammon, chips and egg – Simple and quick after our first day back at work.
Chicken curry – I’m not sure whether to do a rogan using our recipe here or a tikka masala, I’ll see what we are in the mood for when we get in.
Pasta – This will be made with a sauce using up our vegetables that are probably on the way out in the fridge.
Keema curry – This is really easy to make but delicious.
Chilli con carne – I made this last week and froze a few portions too. It is delicious and packed with vegetables.
Piri Piri chicken – Simple but tasty, served with either sweet potato chunks or rice.
Roast – As per usual I am not sure which one yet but it will be something on offer!
Nothing really fancy on the menu this week but all meals that are easy to make and quick to do. I don’t want to be spending lots of time making meals this week as we will no doubt all be tired after getting back into our routine.
