Easy ways to eat healthier with little effort

Easy ways to eat healthier with little effort

Many of us will be on post-Christmas health kicks/resolution or whatever you may call it.

For me, it’s not about a diet or losing weight, it is simply due to the fact we ate too much rubbish over the Christmas period!

Sometimes I feel we eat unhealthy just for convenience, it seems to be easier to crack open a jar of something or reach for a snack such as crisps rather than having a healthier option. It doesn’t really have to be though with the right amount of time and preparation.

Here are my top tips for making sure eating healthy is easier:

  1. Make sure you have the right items to store your food in, these glass food storage sets from VonShef are the perfect item for it. You can use these in the oven, microwave and they are dishwasher safe too. That means, for example, you can pop leftovers in these then the next day simple take the lid off and pop them in the oven to heat up. I have been using mine for yoghurt and fruit at work,  they great too with no spillage from them.Easy ways to eat healthier with little effort
  2. Invest in the right kitchen gadgets – There are lots of gadgets on the market but they are not all great, or great for your health! Think about what you like to eat and then go from there, so for me, I enjoy omelettes at the weekend and Vonshef has a great omelette maker which you just throw all the ingredients in a jug and pour them into the maker. 10 – 15 minutes later lunch is ready to go and you can enjoy with little effort. I love mine and have been making omelettes using up any ingredients we have in the fridge. They also have other great items such as this egg maker which Daddy Vs Work has.Easy ways to eat healthier with little effort Easy ways to eat healthier with little effort
  3. Be prepared – now you have the right tools in the kitchen, it comes down to preparation. Do yourself a meal plan so you’re not tempted to reach for the takeaway menus. You can also prepare your vegetables and fruit so you can just grab yourself a bowl and fill it up as you go

These are just some of the suggestions for easier ways to eat healthy without too much effort. It is a great way to get you started too!

We received a selection of items from VonShef but all thoughts and opinions are our own.
