Good morning and welcome back to another meal plan, these weeks are blurring into 1.
We are back to school here today and that means back into a routine. Though, we have 7 weeks until our half term comes back round. Not that I am counting!
Last weeks meal plan was not too bad, switched a few dishes around but it was tasty. Daddy Vs Work and I are now on Slimming World and sticking to it properly. Over the last 12 months, the weight has crept on and we have just got lazy in our eating habits. Snacking is pretty much out of control. So together we signed up last week and we are sticking to it. It is so much easier doing it together and I have found I am not that hungry either. If you are considering eating healthier but don’t want to diet, this post gives you tips to make your favourite meals healthier. This may be the better way for you to approach it.
It has taken a while to adjust to not eating so much crap when I want, but now I appreciate my treats a little more. As you can imagine, this weeks meal plan is packed full of healthy meals but we are still keeping our family takeaway.
Our meal plan – 12/04/21
Monday –
Chicken chow mein – It is our wedding anniversary today and usually we would celebrate with a takeaway, however, I am cooking. Tonight it is a Slimming World friendly fakeaway!
Tuesday –
Chilli con Carne – I switched this from last week so looking forward to this.
Wednesday –
Sweet potato curry – A meat and pasta free dish today. Looking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Thursday –
Bolognaise pasta bake – I love bolognaise and pasta so can’t wait to try out this new recipe.
Friday –
Takeaway – Still having a family movie and takeaway.
Saturday –
Gunpowder pork – Another new recipe to try out this week.
Sunday –
Beef casserole – Yummy!
I can’t wait actually, the week sounds delicious and I am hoping some of the meals become family favourites. I’ll let you know how we get on.
