Good morning and welcome back to our latest weekly meal plan. The last one before the half-term break, how quick have the last 6 weeks flown by?!
Last week’s meal plan was a little all over the place, so I am looking forward to getting some sort of normality back into our household this week. I have been lacking a bit of inspiration over the last few weeks, this means we have been a bit repetitive. However, I am looking forward to getting some time off in the half term to do a little bit of research on new meals we can try out.
It is really difficult to decide on meals for a family with 2 fussy eaters, however, I am going to give it a try with some new meals!
For now, though, we are just going to get through this busy week, ready for some time off!
Our meal plan – 14/10/19
Monday –
Keema curry – I’ve tried a few times in the past few weeks to have this and never made it, so it is back on the menu!
Tuesday –
Sausage, egg & chips – Simple but delicious.
Wednesday –
Chilli burritos – We have a portion of chilli in the freezer which is perfect for this.
Thursday –
Spaghetti bolognaise – I will make a big portion of this and put the rest in the freezer once this is cooled.
Friday –
Chicken nuggets & chips – A really lazy meal to finish off the week.
Saturday –
Homemade pizza – It has been a while since we made out own pizza so these should be delicious.
Sunday –
Roast or pie – Depending on what we buy.
Nothing that really stands out this week, however, I am going to start making our own little cookbook of recipes that our family will eat which should make meal planning a little easier going forward!
