Good morning and welcome to another weekly meal plan.
We have finally made it to the last week in the term, after what has felt like a long term we have just 5 days to get through before we head into a 2-week break. I’m not going to lie, after working on the house since July, this break is much needed. With the excitement on Christmas coming up, we have gone for an easy week of meals.
Then when we hit the weekend, we are in full-on Christmas mode!
Here is what we are cooking this week:
Our meal plan – 09/12/19
Monday –
Chilli con Carne – Already made and in the freezer so a nice easy meal for dinner.
Tuesday –
Pizza – I picked some up from shopping this week so again another easy meal.
Wednesday –
Chicken and chips – This will be dependant on what we have in the freezer and people fancy but it will be quick.
Thursday –
Fish Thursday – We have a variety of fish in the freezer so we’ll see on the day what we fancy.
Friday –
Peri-peri chicken and wedges – Delicious!
Saturday –
Christmas buffet – It’s our first day off for Christmas so I am going to get some party style bits in for dinner.
Sunday –
Stew in the slow cooker – With Christmas just around the corner I am skipping the roast and going for some stew and dumplings.
It is going to be a bit of a boring week this week, however, with so much going on for the last week of term all I want to do is make sure we are fed on the day!
