Good morning and welcome back to another meal plan. It is half term here and we have a busy week coming up between building work and birthday celebrations.
I was due to do another order from MuscleFood but I’ve not got round to that so we are using up what we have in the freezer and a few bits that I picked up from shopping this week.
Kayleigh and Ethan have been told they need to be a little more adventurous with their eating habits so this week they have chosen a dish on menu to encourage them to try more food. We do have a new dish on the menu which I can’t wait to try.
Our meal plan – 21/10/19
Monday –
Burgers and chips – Nice and easy but delicious!
Tuesday –
Slow Cooked Chinese Style Pork Tenderloin – I found this recipe last week and I am looking forward to giving this a go this week. With Kayleigh’s birthday tomorrow I wanted something easy to cook the night before!
Wednesday –
Takeaway – It is Kayleigh’s birthday and she has friends over so it is a takeaway for us.
Thursday –
Mushroom, asparagus and bacon risotto – We haven’t had this dish in a while so I can’t wait to have this again.
Friday –
Chicken Rogan – I love the flavour in this recipe so can’t wait to have it again this week.
Saturday –
Takeaway – Second of the week I know but we have friends over who we haven’t seen in a while so I’m being lazy.
Sunday –
Roast or pie – It depends on what we get when we are shopping this week.
I am looking forward to this week’s meal plan, I am also planning on attempting to make some home made rolls and pasta this week for the first time. Let’s see how they turn out!
