Our weekly meal plan – 28/09/20

Good morning and welcome to our last meal plan of September, this month has flown by as we have now returned to school and are back into a routine.

I love cooking at this time of the year after a day at work and school there is nothing better than some family favourite comfort meals. As the weather is cooler you can chill out and enjoy the good food and get comfortable after with full bellies and warming blankets and the sofa!

Over the coming weeks, I am going to be looking for a few more classic comfort dishes to make that the kids might not have tried out yet, now we’ve had the basics such as chicken pies and cottage pies though I am sure there are some other delicious Winter warmer recipes out there I haven’t given a go yet. If you have any recipes please feel free to share below.

Now back to this weeks meal plan:

Our meal plan – 28/09/20

Monday –

Spaghetti bolognaise – Delicious, I may even do some garlic bread with this!

Tuesday –

Sausage and chips – Easy dinner after a busy day at work.

Wednesday –

Chicken fajitas – This one is Kayleigh’s favourite, plus super easy to make.

Thursday –

Cottage pie – Perfect Autumn warmer.

Friday –

Takeaway – Time for our weekly “get out of cooking dinner” card!

Saturday –

Pizza – An easy weekend dinner.

Sunday –

Roast or stew – This is dependant on what I pick up with this weeks shopping.

A week of family favourites and Autumn warmers to get through the week, sometimes you can’t beat comfort food!
