Good morning and welcome back to this weeks meal plan.
Last week we pretty much stayed on track and this week we are looking forward to some delicious meals. We have a busy week with high school visits though, so I plan to make this week as easy and as stress free as possible.
I am starting our week as meatless Monday. This is a move to try and cut our meat intake a little but also to save a little bit of money along the way. We are also using the last of the prepared meals from the freezer this week, which means I will have to cook next week!
Here is what is cooking in our house this week:
Our meal plan – 30/09/19
Sweet potato and chickpea curry – I’m really looking forward to this meal, we’ve had it before and it is delicious!
Pizza – We are out on a visit tonight so something quick in the oven when we get back.
Chilli buritos – Already have a portion of chilli in the freezer so this is an easy meal to cook up.
Spaghetti bolognaise – Again, have a portion in the freezer so just need to cook some spaghetti for this.
Mexican lentils and wedges – Another freezer meal being used up! I will make some spicy wedges in our halo to have with it.
Chicken fajitas – This in one of Kayleigh’s request but I love fajitas as they are super quick to make!
Toad in the hole – We’ve not had this in a while so I am looking forward to this
