Looking after yourself should be high up on your priority list however sometimes we put it to the bottom and other times we just never find the budget to do it!
Of course, it doesn’t always need to cost money however sometimes you can’t beat the feeling of treating yourself to a nice haircut or maybe just refreshing your makeup bag.
It doesn’t always need to cost a small fortune though if you are willing to shop around. Here are some great tips on how to save money whilst making yourself feel great!
- Be open-minded – You don’t need to pay a small fortune to get your haircut, in fact, it doesn’t even need to break the bank. Ask around at your local college and see if they have any trainees that are doing a hair course. Lots of times you can get this done at the fraction of the price and as they are being overseen by their trainers you are getting a great cut too!
- Take time out – If you enjoy spa days, but your bank balance doesn’t. Why not give yourself a spa day at home? You can do a DIY manicure, pedicure and facial, in fact, whichever treatments you like! Step away from your phone or computer and just enjoy the peace and just relax.
- Shop around for good deals on your make up – You don’t need to blow the budget on makeup. You can still get your favourite brands at the right price if you look around. Latest Deals take away the hard work for you but searching the net for the best deals, like their lipstick page. They have big brands such as Maybelline and Kat Von D as well as some lesser known brands. As well as the lipsticks though they have a wide range of offers on their site so you could even possibly re-do your whole make up collection on the budget you would spend on just a few items at your normal shop!
- Enjoy the great outdoors – With summer here there is time to get outside and up your vitamin D intake. We all know that getting fresh air is good for our bodies and our minds to make the most of the dry weather and head outside. Whether it just be to eat your lunch outdoors or for a 10-minute walk around the block. Just take 10 minutes out for yourself and clear your mind.
Taking care of yourself doesn’t need to break the bank, nor do you need to put yourself last when it comes to the costs. All you need to do is be a bit wiser on what you are spending your money on and be prepared to search around a little.
