Summer is still hanging on here, it may not be hot like early in the summer but perfect weather for getting out and about enjoying the great outdoors with summer picnics.
We love working with The Basket Company and when they kindly offered to send me a bundle perfect for summer picnics I was extremely grateful. We all love getting out and about in the warmer weather and you can’t beat taking a picnic with you and making the most of the day.
Our bundle included the following:
- A charming Oval lidded Wicker Picnic Basket (with red lining) – As shown here.
- A two bottle wine carrier basket – You can view this here.
- A Wicker French Bread Basket – As shown here.
Now our bread basket has taken pride of place on our dining room table, we use this for our breads including garlic bread etc. It is just the right size for all your favourite bread and meals.
We also headed to our local park with our picnic basket and bottle carrier basket. Both of these are well built and feel very secure when you are carrying them full of your favourite food and drink. It was a bit extreme to take a bottle of wine to our local park so we used ours to carry bottles of water which was perfect for us as a family.
What really surprised me though was how much food we could get in the picnic basket. When it first arrived I thought it was a good size but was unsure as to how much we would be able to fit in there, however it actually fitted a lot more in there than we anticipated with more space to spare.
The beautiful design and lining make it look beautiful whilst it is practical.
We loved these items and the picnic basket is at the ready for another trip out with the kids this coming week. It is the perfect size for a family of 4 plus to make sure our sandwiches etc don’t get squashed whilst we are commuting!
If you are looking for the perfect picnic basket, or anything made from wicker then you need to head to The Basket Company. In my opinion it is the best place to find all your needs including washing baskets, hanging baskets and and storage baskets.
