Well done for surviving the first week back at school and welcome back to our latest meal plan. By the time we get to the end of this week we will have distant memories of the summer holidays and be moving towards Christmas at a scary pace!
However, time to talk food. At the weekend Kayleigh and I spent the day in the kitchen coming up with some delicious recipes so I can’t wait to start sharing them on the blog in the coming weeks. We are meant to be getting fit and healthy for our holiday but we’ve eaten so much delicious food over the last few days the diet disappeared out the door!
So what is cooking this week?
Cod and new potatoes – Simple but delicious meal that doesn’t take long to cook after swimming.
Chicken chow mein – I never got to try this last week as I was having issues getting ingredients so it’s on the menu again tonight.
Tuna pasta bake – Easy and one the kids will eat!
Chilli con carne – Yummy and I love the fact there is always leftovers for the freezer.
Chicken curry – Not sure which one yet but we will see what we fancy on the day, it will either be a tikka masala or a rogan.
Sausage, mash & beans – simple and quick.
Meatballs – Not sure what we will have with these. They are the ones from my Musclefood bundle so I will just need to sort out the sauce and pasta for these.
