This year we are very lucky to be teaming up with Baker Ross and Kayleigh and Ethan are very lucky to receive a bundle of craft goodies to try out.
At Easter we received and Easter bundle of goodies to try out but I forgot to schedule the post (Sorry!) however here is the review of our crafty bundle.
In our Easter box we received:
Crafty egg candles – with paint pens
Chick & Bunny gift bag
Gift Box craft kit
3D Foam Mosaic
Bird Nests
Pipe cleaners
Easter Shred
Paint Stamps
Easter Sprinkles
Papers
Lots of exciting crafts for us to get on with over the Easter break.
The first selection we went for was the candles, in the box we were supplied with the candles plus the paint pens to decorate our candles with.
Shaped as little eggs these candles were a big hit with the whole family as we happily spent a few hours decorating candles. The little paint pens were really easy to use and even Ethan was able to squeeze the paint out the tip.
In the end I think it got a little competitive between Daddy Vs Work and I as to who had made the better design!
Kayleigh and Ethan however happily painted candles quietly for the afternoon. We have enough decorated candles to last a while now!
What I was impressed with was the fact they burn so easily but the paint (and the candles) do not let of any paint smell, they in fact don’t let off any smell.
Kayleigh and Ethan also got crafty making up the Chick & Bunny gift bag & Gift Box craft kit.
Both kits came with clear instructions and almost all of the items we’re sticky back which meant I could let Kayleigh and Ethan take the lead on making their own gifts. I think they did a pretty good job!
We have still got some crafty bits to get through and these have been added to our craft box (though I think we need a bigger storage box!) for future activities.
PS! Sorry to Baker Ross for my late publishing but a huge thank you for the goodies!
