It’s Monday, so that means its time for another meal plan.
Last week we didn’t really follow it too well, not reaching for the takeaway too much but more the meals already cooked in the freezer instead.
This week though I am trying to stick to it a bit better and get our shopping bill down a little bit more. We have just had our delivery from Musclefood so there are no real excuses anymore.
The weather is a bit up and down this week and we’ve found we have been eating less when the weather is nicer. When I say less, I mean less in terms of meals but more in the way of snacks! So I’ve decided to go for simple family favourites this week to save on time and stress!
Here is what we are having this week:
Monday –
Gammon with mustard potatoes – I didn’t make this last night, so it is for dinner tonight. Leftover gammon will be used in salads for a few days.
Tuesday –
Tuna with avocado relish and new potatoes – This is a recipe from a cookbook I brought about 10 years however it is delicious.
Wednesday –
Homemade pizza and doughballs – These went down a storm last time we had these so going to give it a go again.
Thursday –
Meatballs and spaghetti – Simple but a big hit.
Friday –
Chilli con Carne – We used the mince for something else last week, so we will have chilli con carne tonight instead!
Saturday –
Pancakes – Quick and easy as we are out in the afternoon.
Sunday –
Chilli burritos – Using up some of the leftovers from chilli con carne.
Quick and easy favourites this week that are no stress and easy to make. Next week I am planning to try out another 1 or 2 new recipes to try and expand our meal options.
