Good morning and welcome back to our latest meal plan.
As we are in the last week of the month we are running through the leftovers in our freezer to keep the shopping bill down. This week we have a Musclefood order coming which was just too good a deal to pass up if you have not tried them out yet I would highly recommend them. The quality is very good but the price is good for your bank balance too, simply freeze in portions suitable for your family.
So this week is simple meals using up the leftovers, this is what we have:
Monday –
Scrambled eggs and toast – The kids will eat before swimming but we will be having a quick meal of scrambled egg on toast.
Tuesday –
Spaghetti and bolognaise – The bolognaise is already in the freezer so it just needs to be warmed through and some spaghetti cooked.
Wednesday –
Slow cooker chicken – We didn’t have our roast on Sunday so it will be a quick midweek roast using our slow cooker and halo!
Thursday –
Tuna pasta bake – Quick family favourite.
Friday –
Steak and chips – Still have some steak in the freezer to enjoy.
Saturday –
Pulled pork in the slow cooker – Ethan has asked for this, it is a simple meal so I don’t mind.
Sunday –
Hunters chicken – I’m trying to find more recipes for a child that is becoming fussier by the day. This one from Pinch of Nom sounds delicious!
I’m on the lookout for meals for one very fussy child, Ethan at the moment is going through a stage where he doesn’t like most meals. By most, I think we are down to pancakes, turkey dinosaurs and chips (occasionally), cereal, pizza and roast chicken.
It has been challenging but I’m sure it is just a phase that he will be coming out of the other side soon! If you have a fussy eater and have some sure-fire winners please feel free to share them in the comments below.
