Good morning and welcome back to our weekly meal plan.
This week I am going to confess that I have not been very organised, in fact, I have not even written down the plans for dinners this week before our shopping was done. So it is going to be based on meals which we have the ingredients for and hope for the best.
I know this is really not the way to meal plan but I have been so manic with various things going on that I just ran out of time, so we just need to get through this week and be better organised next week!
Monday –
Meatballs and spaghetti – Simple but tasty so that makes it a winner.
Tuesday –
Stuffed chicken and new potatoes – We haven’t had this chicken recipe from Philidelphia in ages but I thought it would be a good addition to the meal plan this week.
Wednesday –
Tuna pasta bake – family favourite back on the menu.
Thursday –
Sausage, mash and beans – Quick but tasty dinner.
Friday –
Pepperoni pizza pasta – I saw this recipe on Easy Peasy Foodie and thought it was perfect for our pizza loving family!
Saturday –
Chicken kebabs& wedges – Homemade chicken kebabs and wedges.
Sunday –
Roast dinner – Again it will be a roast of some sort, just depending on what we fancy nearer the time.
It’s not a terrible meal plan but lacks a bit of imagination. However, I am very thankful we keep a good supply in the cupboard of pasta and spices etc as it allows us to have a plan to fall back on.
Over the coming weeks, I am going to carry on trying out different recipes with the kids to try and get them to enjoy a few different meals from the ones that they really rely on. I’m hoping it will broaden their choices a bit more and allow us to try out different meals.
