Last week I noticed that my meals were pretty similar to the week before and safe to say uninspiring. So this week as well as our classics we always have I’ve added a few new ones to try out on the family.
Monday – Home made burger & chips – This is from the My Daddy Cook’s cookbook & the first time I’ve tried these!
Tuesday – Sausage mash & beans. So simply yet Kayleigh’s favourite!
Wednesday – Pasta with a tomato & cheese sauce. I have college tonight so need something simple & quick.
Thursday – spaghetti bolognaise, this is already in the freezer so minimum cooking!
Friday – Toad in the Hole, I enjoyed this a lot last week so want it again.
Saturday – Sheppard’s pie, first time I’ve made this in a long time but an easy dish for a weekend cooking 🙂
Sunday roast chicken – We never had this last week as we popped to my sisters to watch the football so it’s in the freezer ready to go.
So there you have it, I’ve tried to mix it up a bit this week & I think every week I may try & change out 2 dishes for new ones or ones we’ve not had in a while.
I’ve joined in with At Home with Mrs M linky, why not pop over & see what other bloggers have lined up for the week.
Oh, yum. My stomach, it’s rumbling. I love food like this — it’s SO comforting!
It really is just comfort food, not good for the old diet!
You sound like me Paula, you look at your menu and think does this look to the same!!! I be happy eating at yours this week 🙂 My Daddy Cook’s Book sounds good, hear lots of good things about it!
Love the book! Thats where the spaghetti bolognaise has come from too, just slightly amended (oh and the sheppards pie 😀 )
Toad in the Hole is one of our favourites too!
