Wow just like that, the summer holidays have come to an end. This weeks picture I took when we popped to a local zoo on Friday.
We were due to go to another zoo but had to switch things around and we are lucky enough to live 20 minutes away from Whipsnade so headed over there.
It has been our only day trip during this holiday due to the building work but we made sure we enjoyed every minute of it. Like last week with the ice cream trip, I did look around for a good deal. Nothing really came up however I did have enough Clubcard vouchers for I did take my big camera out for a change but didn’t capture as many pictures as I would normally, I just enjoyed the day out.
This is my favourite picture I took of the day, there is just something about giraffe’s that is calming. They seem to just take everything in their stride and go with the day, they are actually really relaxing to watch. However, the kids did find the giraffe house a bit stinky!
So as we go back to the rush of everyday life, I need to remember to just take the calmer approach to life. It goes past so quickly that we all need to step back and appreciate it a little more than we do.
