This week’s one picture post is a bit late in the day, as we’ve only just finished!
It has been a busy week of back to school and housework, so much so that the week pretty much passed in a blur. With 3 weeks to go, however, until our carpets arrive, we’ve had to crank up the housework a little bit more.
Today was spent working on the hallway and getting all of the lining paper on the wall. It may be the smallest room that we are doing however it has 6 doors to cut around plus the loft hatch and window. It is the most fiddly room to work on that is for sure.
After a late finish, we now have a week of painting in between everything else, with multiple coats of wood primer and topcoat to go, as well as the ceiling. We are hoping that by the weekend we can get the top coat of wallpaper on before we then start on our room.
It is going to be hectic for the whole of this month but I just keep reminding myself, all going to plan, by the end of November our house will be back to some sort of normality!
