Mummy vs Work: Streamline Your Life (We Use Cookies)

Our weekly meal plan – 10/08/20

Good morning and welcome back to another weekly meal plan.

Last weeks meal plan, pretty much went to plan which makes a nice change in this household. I have found allowing myself to not stress too much by adding a lazy meal in from the freezer and a takeaway treat on Friday.

We are not getting very far with the new meals we have tried out recently but we are going to keep going and try to find more dishes. There has to be something I can add that everyone will eat surely?!

It is due to be a bit of a scorcher this week so we are going to stick with easy to make meals that require minimal effort to cook and keep the heat down in the kitchen. I’m not sure about anyone else but I struggle to get motivated to cook when the weather is too warm.

Here is what we are cooking in our house:

Our meal plan – 10/08/20

Monday –

Peri-peri chicken and salad – It is easy to cook and people can eat it with whatever they want.

Tuesday –

Jacket potatoes – Simple yet tasty, especially in the heat.

Wednesday –

Chicken fajitas – Doesn’t take too long to cook so I can get back to chilling out.

Thursday –

Pizza – Sticking it in the oven and letting it cook sounds good to me.

Friday –

 Takeaway – Friday family night.

Saturday –

BBQ – Family treat to enjoy the weekend.

Sunday –

Pasta – Simple to do and can be adjusted to everyone’s taste.

Overall it should be not only an easy week for cooking but our shopping bill should be a lot lower as we already have lots of the items in the cupboard or freezer.
