Our weekly meal plan – 21/12/20

Good afternoon and welcome back to a slightly later than usual meal plan!

We are now on our Christmas break, well mostly, so we are taking the slower approach to our holidays. All plans that we had have been cancelled as we moved into tier 4 and we are going to make the most of family time at home with no routine, plans or work. That includes blog work, so I expect it will be quiet on here for a while but we are still going to be meal planning.

The meal plan for this week is simple, yummy food that we can all enjoy without too much effort.

So, let’s get back to what we are cooking this week:

Our meal plan – 21/12/20

Monday –

Pizza – From the freezer as we need to clear out a bit of space for the new year.

Tuesday –

Sausage, egg and chips – Super easy but delicious.

Wednesday –

Chilli con Carne – Already made and in the freezer so another easy dinner.

Thursday –

Takeaway – It is a tradition in our house for a takeaway on Christmas Eve, we prepare for the big day and have a lazy dinner to finish it off.

Friday –

Christmas dinner – Possibly the best meal of the year?!

Saturday –

Boxing day buffet – Leftover turkey, pickles, bread, new potatoes. Delicious!

Sunday –

Gammon, new potatoes and veg – I am going to slow cook the gammon and have a lazy Sunday!

It really is an easy week for us, I am not really in the mood to be faffing around in the kitchen trying out new recipes this week. We are keeping it simple and enjoying the time we have off.
