Our weekly meal plan – 24/02/2020

Good morning and welcome back to our last meal plan of February. This year is just going too quick for my liking!

The half-term break went too quick for me too, we had a busy week of appointments and chores, it was almost as if we didn’t get a break. We did, however, get lots of things done though which would have taken up time at the weekends. Don’t worry though, we are on the countdown to the next break!

Back to the meal plan, last week’s meal plan pretty much went to plan, we did have Domino’s one day, just because I fancied it. However other than that we stuck to plan the rest of the time. We did do a huge Costco shop which means we have a freezer full of meat and fish, as well as enough cleaning products to last us for about 6 months! It does make meal planning a little easier though and I can’t wait to have some delicious meals in the coming weeks.

Our meal plan – 24/02/20

Monday –

Sweet potato and chickpea curry – It’s a busy night on a Monday in our household

Tuesday –

Pancakes – Can’t do Shrove Tuesday without pancakes, though I’ll be having pasta.

Wednesday –

Chicken and briam (Greek vegetables) – I found this briam recipe on Pinterest and it looks amazing. I can’t wait to try this out.

Thursday –

Toad in the hole – Easy but delicious.

Friday –

Chicken fajitas – Family favourite and so easy.

Saturday –

Chilli con Carne – Already done, just need to add rice!

Sunday –

Roast or stew – This will be dependant on what we fancy.

I have added a new dish this week and I will try and do this weekly going forward. Thankfully the kids are trying a few different dishes over the last few weeks so I look forward to being able to add more dishes to our meal plans.
