Our weekly meal plan – 24/06/19

Good morning and welcome back to another weekly meal plan, last week’s one was pretty much stuck to most of the week though we did move a few things around or switch things a bit. For example, we had chicken Rogan instead of Katsu curry so we could use up some things such as peppers etc that were heading past the best.

This week we are going to try and stick a bit better to meal plans and try and even eat a little healthier this week. Our food choices have gotten lazy but this is not just dinner ideas, this includes our lunch and snacks too. We have just fallen into a bit of a rut that I would like to get us back out of.

With a busy week coming up I have selected meals that should be easy to do but are also going to be stuck to as everyone should eat them!

Our meal plan –  24/06/19

Monday –

Katsu curry – I’m looking forward to this one!

Tuesday –

Pizza – I have a meeting after work so it needs to be something quick from the freezer today.

Wednesday –

Keema curry – The kids are at a school disco so it is something quick and easy after they finish.

Thursday –

Chicken dippers and chips – This recipe from Pinch of Nom book has been a big hit with the whole family so looking forward to having these.

Friday –

Mexican tortilla baskets – This is a great recipe that is not only tasty but super filling too.

Saturday –

Hotdogs – So simple but a huge hit in this house!

Sunday –

Roast – Weekends mean a little more time so looking forward to enjoying a roast at the weekend.

With summer hopefully returning for a while there may be some days where we decide just to have a salad as it is too warm, however, this is fine as we have supplies of vegetables etc in the fridge so we won’t be spending more money this week
