The future of tablets?

Since my accident I have been dependant on my tablet to keep me sane, now Sony has a new product on the market, the Xperia™ Tablet S.

Now this tablet is a stunning slim aluminium body and splash-proof, making it one of the best looking tablets on the market. However it is so much more than that.

The first main feature that really jumps out at me is the universal remote control, that’s right, your tablet can become your remote control allowing you to switch on your TV, cable box and home entertainment system, select inputs, and adjust volume and more. So no need to have so many remotes lying around anymore! For the gadget girl in me I feel like going…. woooooohooooo!

Sony Xperia™ Tablet S has so many more features though that makes it an attractive piece of technology! It is jam packed with Sony’s latest technologies with things like ClearAudio+, giving you that distinct Sony quality whilst listening to audio. Video content can be enjoyed with high picture and sound quality using the ‘Movies’ application.

Another fab feature is the guest mode. If you have a family that love technology you can set it up so you all have a login, allowing you to set wallpaper, icons and apps access to let everyone enjoy the tablet.

Also you are able browse content for PlayStation® Mobile, and purchase and read your favourite digital books using the Reader application, making it one very diverse tablet!

Here are its key specifications:

What features do you think would be the most important in your house? I personally would love the remote control however I’m sure the kids would love to be able to have their own profiles!

I am loving the fact it can turn into a remote control!! Fab idea! also I love the way it can have guest options on it! Different profiles on a tablet would work extremely well!! This sounds like the next must have tablet!
