Although it is chilly and dark, it is the best time of the year for you to make the perfect Winter wonderland at home. I am all for the twinkly lights and darker nights at this time of the year and personally, I don’t think there is anything better than watching a movie with just the Christmas lights on.
I know we all decorate more for Christmas, but you can have the perfect lighting at home, all year round and Lights 4 Fun is the place to go should you be looking for some inspiration. We have just changed from our Autumn theme lights over to Christmas and I love their products.
Here are some of my top picks if you want to bring joy to your home.
Best lights to create your own Winter wonderland
Pre-Lit Christmas Mistletoe Garland Mistletoe
I love a garland and this one is simple and elegant. In fact, you could keep it up for the whole Winter period and it would suit any room.
It is lit using AA batteries, so you don't even need to use it near a plug socket.
Lollypop Outdoor Christmas Decoration
If you are looking for something a little fun, this super cute lollypop light is the one for you.
It isn't suitable for our house unfortunately, otherwise I would have lots of these lining the way to the door!
LED Twinkly Smart App Controlled Icicle Lights
These are on my wishlist and Daddy Vs Work has promised next year that he will put an external plug socket so we can get some of these up.
There is just something magical about seeing the houses with the twinkling lights from the roof tops and I want some of those!
Osby Star Window Light
I love stars in our home and it is not just a Winter thing either. There is something elegant and understated about them.
These light-up window stars would look great in your window but also on top of the fireplace or even radiator cover.
The lights are powered by batteries again, so this make is easier for you to be able to place them.
Wallace and Gromit™ Christmas Figure
Ok, this one is more of a Christmas light but it was too cute to leave it out!
There is a matching Shaun the Sheep, but he is out of stock at the moment.
At 55cm in height and housing 48 warm white LEDs he’s sure to fill your space with a magical glow. Perfect for styling both indoors or on covered outdoor porches, you can also pair him with our Shaun the Sheep light-up figure for a cracking Christmas display.
These selections are just some of the great products on Lights 4 Fun, however, they have a huge range of products, so it is worth checking them out.
I am going to be really sad when we have to take down the lights and pack away for the new year, we have invested in two sets of their core connect lights that are in our living room and we are using those as our lights for now rather than the main lights. It just gives the whole room another feeling at this time of the year.
Many of the products use AA batteries, so it may be worth considering investing in rechargeable batteries. We use these rechargeable Energizer batteries and the matching charger, they are not the cheapest but sometimes you have to pay a little more for better quality.
