Welcome to our first meal plan of 2018! With all the food being eaten over the festive period and our tummies fit to pop I have to say I am looking forward to getting back into a routine a bit.
This year I am hoping to introduce new meals to our meal planning to begin with to broaden our meal options as we tend to stick to the same meals every week. It would be nice to have a bigger choice to pick from every week. So if you have any firm family favourites please pop a link in the comments below!
I also brought a Breville Halo health fryer for us to hopefully be able to cook our food a little healthier going forward. I managed to pick it up in the Amazon sale with £150 off the RRP so hoping it becomes a great money saving buy! I am looking forward to using it in the coming weeks!
Monday –
Tuna pasta bake – We are not one to make it a special dinner on New Year’s Day. It is also the day we take the decorations down and prepare for the return to work so I expect us to be busy!
Tuesday –
Takeaway – I know great start to the healthy new year however I have to do a return on my way home so stopping at the drive through on the way past!
Wednesday –
Tandoori salmon – The classic is back! However, it is super tasty and easy to make after a day at work it is perfect.
Thursday –
Chicken fajitas – I’m going to try and make these in my Breville Halo, I will report back on how I get on!
Friday –
Sausage stew – Simple way to use up those leftover veg.
Saturday –
Pasta and meatballs – Delicious and a popular choice!
Sunday –
Roast – I am thinking of maybe roast pork however I will wait and see what is on offer in the supermarket this week.
This is what we are cooking in our house this week, what is cooking in yours?
